Fulfilling a dream: to accelerate social change through the most authentic, effective work for the money.
Our story begins as part of another story, the national, DC-based firm, GMMB. Over 16 years, Kurt Guenther worked there, gaining broad skills in political and issue campaigns and producing award-winning strategy and execution in film and advertising, first as Creative Director, then Partner.
During those years, Kurt served as Creative Coordinator to Clinton-Gore ’92, creative lead of AmeriCorp’s first-ever national advertising campaign, and produced successful creative for dozens of high profile groups such as Greenpeace, Johnson & Johnson, SEIU, American Federation of Teachers, Tobacco-Free Kids, Legacy, Janitors for Justice, League of Conservation Voters, Kodak, American Diabetes Association, League of Women Voters, Daimler-Benz, American Lung Association, American Heart Association, UNITE!, Child Welfare League of America, UAW, AFL-CIO, and dozens of others, including victorious statewide political campaigns.
Fulfilling a lifelong dream, Kurt brought his family back to the Northwest in 2000, opened the Seattle office of GMMB, and 2004, launched his own firm.
By building teams on a campaign-by-campaign basis, Kurt found he could offer clients top talent in independent film, music, design and other specialties and create award-winning, original and effective campaign work on budgets nonprofits and other changemakers could afford.
Clients like the results. Some of their testimonials are included here.
Each professional who works on a GuentherMedia campaign team is a longtime collaborator and a believer in the cause at hand. We walk the talk: our best work is accomplished together, challenging old rules, looking for new ways to make a measurable difference.
